Day 1 - Vancouver to Tofino

10 June 2016

Tofino time! We had booked a spot on the 10:15am sailing from Tswassen but due to an accident and all the traffic we didn't think we would make it. Lukily we made it with 5 minutes to spare. We were the second to last car on, phew!

Day 2 - Tofino

11 June 2016

First full day in Tofino. As I was really dreading calling work after my boss's nasty e-mail, I took my time getting out of bed. Not sure how it would delay the fact that I had to call but I didn't care I'm on vacation.

Day 4 - Tofino

13 June 2016

Today was paddle boarding and fuck, it was hard! Also did not help that not only have we never done it before we did it on the open ocean. After a pair of lost sunglasses and sore knees, we all pretty much kneeled instead of standing. It was a lot of fun and we were so sore afterwards but it was nice to just focus on this activity and screw around. Luckily there was a full gowler at the cabin when we got back. hubs also didn't join us on the excursion so guess who made multiple runs to the brewery for the rest of us all day?

Day 5 to 9 - Tofino

14-17 June 2016

While I wanted to keep writing about these last few days and is too exhausted from work. It sees all my energy to get out of bed and I have no drive to right. I'm done. I'm burnt out. I needed this break and all it did with stress about work. I am so done.
