Day 3 - YOW

3 April 2015

One of our group was getting hammered so I was being fed her drinks to help prevent her from going over board. Their friends kept buying rounds of Burt Reynold's so over the night I ended up with 1 daiquiri, 7 beers, and 6 shots. Also got nicknamed "Vancouver" by the entire bar since no one could remember my name or see my hair colour lol.

Day 4 - Niagara

4 April 2015

It's about 3am and some snow has fallen. It isn't enough to stick or do anything but I've never seen snow falling in April. We arrived shortly after so it will be nice to get some sleep as we are off to Niagara later to do some wine tasting.

Day 5 - GTA

5 April 2015

Following brunch we went up to Bainbridge to visit a family member that's in a home. There was one gentleman in the home that was extremely happy to see us. He had the biggest toothless grin and he was waiving his arm so hard that I thought it was going to fall off. A nurse went over and chatted with him as we walked by. It was heartbreaking; I wonder who he thought we were.

Day 6 - Toronto

6 April 2015

The first stop was Casa Loma. Amazing building, sad history. My family member had said that I should aim to achieve something like it which I would love but I feel that it's not very realistic. It took us about 3 hours to explore the entire area and when we went up to see the tower someone had fallen down the stairs and injured themselves.

Day 7 - YYZ to YVR

7 April 2015

Ugh. I hate getting up this early, I can never get used to this.

Along the way to the airport we grabbed Tim Horton's. I swear that I'm going to go into Timmy's withdrawal since we drank and ate at their locations at least twice a day. I don't touch Tim's at homes but whenever I'm out here I feel like we keep them in business!

Day 2 - Toronto

15 January 2016

Glad I didn't pay for the upgrade, seats and service were the exact same. Only difference was that they get 591mL bottle of water. Flight was uneventful cab ride from the airport was $60. Even if I took the new train, it would have cost the same. Note to self, book a transfer, it's cheaper.

Breakfast was too early but it was nice to have another free meal. Met with my boss and a colleague but my boss was super inappropriate with very sexual comments that had the waiters very interested in me - things like it up against the wall.
